Learning relationships by raising and studying butterflies

   After it sheds its skin, it begins to change shape to start the formation of the adult butterfly. At first it moves around a lot, especially if it is disturbed, but then it seems to go to sleep, and its case hardens as well.

She dropped this skin.

   This stage is called the pupa stage for insects in general. For butterflies is also can be called a chrysallis.
